If you are nominating for a position on the UEC Committee for 2012, you will have the chance to state your candidacy and tell us just how good you will be for the position at the end of the AGM.

It's that time of year again, time for the annual UEC QUIZ NIGHT!!!
So get your thinking caps on, find a friend or 5 and get quizzical!
There will be some great prizes, awesome competitions (hope you've got your push-up arm(s) ready) and just a little bit of banter. And for a plus, happy hour jug prices all night!

As many of you know, there are going to be a number of changes to the course structure at UWA starting from next year.
To account for this, the UEC has made several changes to our constitution, in order to make sure that the club can keep running for many years to come.
At this meeting, we will propose our amendments to the constitution and general members of the club will be able to vote on these changes.
It should be fairly short, but we would love any members who would like to contribute to the club to come along and vote.

University Club on Saturday, 30th July to celebrate the occasion.

You may have heard about the proposed changes to the budget of the
Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics. There has been a lot
of interest from students about the changes, so the UEC, in
collaboration with other Engineering Clubs, is hosting a meeting for
students to learn more about the changes, ask questions and have your
say into what the student population does. The meeting will be attended
by Academic Staff members, Faculty Staff members and UWA Student Guild
Executive members, and all will be available to answer questions.

This year the ball will be held in the Astral Ballroom at the Burswood Entertainment Complex and is sure to be another fantastic night in the long history of this event. A full food and drinks package will be provided as well as a live band and DJ to keep you going! Tickets are available daily (1-2pm) outside the Civil and Mechanical building for a very low $110. Make sure you get your tickets soon as the capacity is limited. Table forms (10 per table) will be available soon so make sure you get the gang together and commit to a night which is sure to be remembered!
