The GHSC is an opportunity to provide West Australian students from all universities with an avenue to learn and engage in issues of international health. It is an opportunity to broaden the student consciousness and offer
teaching in an area that is sought but not provided. The eight-week course (one lecture per week) is to be low cost and supported by sponsors and various health associated organizations. These include the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, the University of Western Australia and the UWA Guild. The course starts on the 27th of July, and runs for 8 subsequent weeks.
