The University Engineers' Club (UEC) is the Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Mathematical Sciences' Student Club at the University of Western Australia.
Formed in 1921, the UEC represents in excess of 2300 undergraduate students and plays an active role in organising various career, educational, social and sporting events throughout the year.
Would you like to spend 5 days on a mountaineering trip in the Wanaka area in New Zealand? The UEC has opened applications for this year's Barry Armour Award, which involves exactly that. The award goes to a penultimate year student enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics that actively participates in all aspects of university life. The successful applicant must be fit, enthusiastic and have a passion for nature and the outdoors. They must have a strong history of contributions to University and Faculty events.

teaching in an area that is sought but not provided. The eight-week course (one lecture per week) is to be low cost and supported by sponsors and various health associated organizations. These include the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, the University of Western Australia and the UWA Guild. Please feel free to browse through the attached curriculum we have developed, as well as a number of promotional materials we have prepared.

Firsty, a big thankyou to everyone who was involved in PROSH this year. Whether that be helping with the float, the skit, the stunt or just selling your PROSH papers in Commando style. We had a great turn out and everyone looked the part dressed up in camo gear. The UEC was well represented by dedicated members arriving at 4am or before to get into the spirit of raising money for some worthy charities.
Special mentions go to Huw Macy and Max Daube for your efforts in organising the skit and stunt. A big thankyou to Jessie and Matt for all the time and effort put into designing and building the float. It looked fantastic! And thankyou also to everyone who helped them out in the weeks leading up to PROSH and the manic night before.
